Prices are before sales tax and change by country. TikTok does not publish a Diamond exchange rate; 2 coins per Diamond and $0.005 per Diamond are the rates creators commonly report, so payouts here are approximations.
Coins, gifts and Diamonds
TikTok runs on three units. Viewers buy coins with money. They spend coins on gifts — a Rose is 1 coin, bigger gifts cost hundreds or thousands — and send them to a creator during a LIVE or on a video. The creator receives Diamonds, which they can cash out once they reach TikTok’s withdrawal minimum. The calculator follows money through all three steps.
Where the coin prices come from
The pack table is TikTok’s own US price list from tiktok.com/coin, as listed on October 9, 2026 and checked on October 16. Mid-size packs work out to about $1.04 per 100 coins; the 30-coin pack is the same rate and the 17,500 pack is slightly cheaper per coin. The page states that buying there saves around 25% against the app, so app prices here are the web price divided by 0.75 — an approximation, because Apple and Google set their own price tiers.
Why Diamonds are an estimate
TikTok has never published how many Diamonds a coin becomes or what a Diamond pays. The figures used here — 2 coins to 1 Diamond and $0.005 per Diamond — are the ones creators consistently report from their own withdrawals, and they imply a creator keeps roughly a quarter of what viewers spend. Taxes, the platform fee and country all move the real number, so read the payout lines as a ballpark rather than a quote.
Gifts are only one income stream
For most creators, brand deals pay far more than gifts. To see what a sponsored video on your account is worth, try the TikTok money calculator; to check whether your audience is engaged enough to pitch, use the TikTok engagement rate calculator.
Questions
How much is 1,000 TikTok coins?
About $10.36 when bought on tiktok.com/coin in the US, using the 700-coin pack rate. In the iPhone or Android app the same coins cost roughly a third more, because TikTok says buying on the web saves around 25%.
Why are coins cheaper on the website?
Apple and Google take a fee on in-app purchases. TikTok’s own recharge page says the web price saves around 25% thanks to a lower third-party service fee.
How much is a Diamond worth?
TikTok does not publish the rate. Creators commonly report that a gift of 2 coins turns into 1 Diamond and that a Diamond cashes out at about $0.005, so 10,000 Diamonds come to around $50. Treat it as an estimate — TikTok can change it and it varies by country.
How much does a creator get from a gift?
Roughly a quarter of what the viewer paid. A $10 coin purchase on the web becomes about 965 coins, which gift as about 482 Diamonds, worth about $2.41 to the creator.
Are the prices the same in every country?
No. TikTok prices coins in local currency and adds local sales tax. The table uses US dollar prices; outside the US, check tiktok.com/coin while signed in to see yours.
